Upon arriving at Carmen, I was pleasantly surprised by the value this property offers. The rustic charm of the common areas contrasted nicely with the well-kept gardens and pool area. While the rooms were clean, a touch of modernity could elevate the experience further. The staff, though not fluent in English, were accommodating and attentive to our requests, ensuring a comfortable stay.Unfortunately, the pool's cleanliness fell short of expectations, albeit the poolside snack bar was a convenient spot to unwind. Considering the affordable dinner offerings, the value for food and drink was commendable. However, I did find the lack of international cuisine options a slight drawback.Carmen presents a great option for budget-conscious travelers looking for a peaceful retreat near the falls, with ample opportunities for relaxation and exploration.
